Graduated with B.Build & BSc(QS) degrees from Nelson Mandela University in 1976 and 1978 respectively. Naas joined a national firm of Quantity Surveyors in 1979. He became a Director in 1983 and established and managed various branch offices until 1990 when he moved to Cape Town. He was the co-founder of MULLER DU PLESSIS in Durbanville in March 1991. Since the establishment of the practice Naas has been involved with the planning and/or successful completion of projects for clients both in the private and public sectors. These projects include industrial and office buildings, hospitals, training facilities, schools, shopping centres, apartment buildings, housing developments, government- and municipal buildings, etc

Attended the Cape Peninsula University of Technology from 1997 to 2000 where he studied for the National Diploma (Building). After graduating from UCT in 2007, Simon spent a year in the United Kingdom gaining valuable practical experience within the engineering & built environment working for a project management consultancy based in London. In early 2009 he joined newly formed Glo Projects spending 7 years as a Project Manager. In 2016 he joined Muller Du Plessis QS and was the lead consultant within the award winning Sitari Lifestyle Estate Development. Simon has a strong desire to achieve and has spent the last 13 years spearheading the successful delivery of many large scale residential, commercial, and renewable energy projects.
